Since I had the camera out from taking pictures of the cupholder I rigged up for another thread, I decided to take some pictures of something weird on the connection between the fuel line and fuel rail I noticed yesterday.
Backstory: took my car in for an alignment last week. For some reason they felt the need to open my oil cap, and of course left it off(!!!) thus spraying oil all over the place. I was massively pissed. I'm sure other 240 owners can understand the connection I have to this car. Luckily, I was about to install my new used wiper motor and popped the hood about an hour after I got the car home. Who knows how long it would have been until I noticed had this not been the case, or if it had been the car of some person who's not mechanically inclined. Anyway, I took it back and made them clean it up, and they did, but somehow I feel like they probably didn't take care when they were doing it. Yet another reason why I change my own oil. So, I don't know if they screwed it up, or if it was like that, or if it's supposed to be like this, or what.
Picture 1: How the hose sits normally. It feels very loose, but there's some sort of odd connector that seems to hold the hose on regardless. It can't be easily pulled off as far as I can tell. I'm very happy for that, because I tried to do it thinking it was a loose vacuum line before I noticed it went to the fuel rail. I imagine lit cigarettes + fuel spray = bad things. It looks like it's leaking slightly, but that could just be oil spray that wasn't cleaned up.

Picture 2 shows how far the hose can be pulled away from the fitting using gentle pressure.

Picture 3 shows how the hose can be pushed forward, to where I think it looks like it should be.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks for any insight.
