any tips on resoldering the AC control board? 200

i ask here only because the 940 board is not as active and many here also drive 940's.

i have narrowed the non working AC down to the AC control board in back of the center console. i have read the faq's on this job and would like to know if anyone here has done this job recently and can offer any current tips or mistakes not to make, etc.
