Hello All:
I was lucky enough to find a Duett roof rack at Carlisle this year. It was painted but I didnt think that'd be a problem.

I have a couple of questions about the original finish on the roof rack.

1. Were the wooden slats made of oak or ash?
2. What color was the metal framework of the roofrack?

I saw one powdercoated in silver with the wooden slats and it looked very nice, but I'd like to at least find out what were originally before I tackle the restoration of the rack.
