940 Wagon Anti-sway bars

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

May this find you well. I just installed an IPD rear anti-sway bar on a '94 940 wagon. The FAQs were quite helpful!

Three issues:
(a) the factory installed rear anti-sway bar measures 16mm in diameter (the front anti-sway bar is 23mm). I had thought that the factory spec for the rear bar was 19mm. Is it not so, that the 16mm diameter bar is for a sedan (rear)?
(b) I installed a 25mm IPD rear anti-sway bar. Is is a problem to have that bar paired with a 23mm factory-installed front anti-sway bar? I have the 25mm IPD unit and will put it in, if there's a compelling reason to do so.
(c) when I removed the shock bolts - having first put a jackstand under the rear axle - I expected the shock absorbers to extend. They didn't. Is that a sign of failed shocks? The body rebounds pretty smartly, if I press down on the corner of bumper.

Thanks for your help. I'm much obliged.

Yours faithfully,

Spook
