I successfully removed the in-tank assembly, but in installing the new pump, I can't for the life of me remember how the metal cylinder fuel pump was attached to the plastic cylinder, if at all! Does the fuel pump simply rest in the fuel tank at the end of the hose? Thanks for any help you can provide!
