Belive it or not I am having a hard time finding an oil filter for my 83 242, The NAPA stores both have it listed as a special order item and don't seem to want to bother with getting me one . The local Canadian Tire no longer lists a filter for a car this old and the one for the later 240's is about 1/2 the size of the ones I usually buy. I seem to recall that a filter for a Ford 5.0 liter engine is the same. Am I right?
