Hello Brickboard. I recently checked the codes in my 1989 240dl and I had quite a few. In plug number 2 the fuel injections slot I had code 311, 232 and 212. Two of those deal with o2 sensor so I think that could be bad. I have no idea if the sensor has ever been replaced. I read in the FAQ to test the voltage of the sensor to see if it works or not and replace if no voltage. So I think I will try that. What about 311? Missing signal speed? Is that the sensor on top of the bellhousing? I replaced that sensor not too long ago. Any other ideas on what to do with those codes? BTW how do you clear codes in OBD1?
