Transmission fluid change 200 1987

I successfully changed the transmission fluid this weekend (automatic transmission). Two things I would like to mention, hopefully for the benefit of other first-timers:

a) This was a very easy job. I just followed the instructions covered in several posts on this great board (plus BB FAQ, plus personal web sites like Dave Shannon's, plus IPD's downloadable instruction sheet).
b) Even if the old fluid looked and smelled "all right" after 40,000 miles and 7 years, the transmission now shifts noticeably smoother than it did. I should have done this job a year ago like I had intended.
