M46 conversion and cable drive speedometer... 200

I've found a source for an M46 setup from the rear main seal back+pedals and shifter, etc, but it's out of an '86, and I want to make sure that the later M46's still had the provision for the cable drive speedometer, as it will be going into an '83.
