I think my timing belt is living on borrowed time (80K miles) and have a new belt and tensioner on hand. I also have the special tool to get the crank bolt off. Being a novice and worrier, I want to avoid screwing up anything and have a few last minute questions.
1) To loosen the belts, just loosen the component (e.g., compressor) and then the tension bolt? Proper order is A/C belt, alternator belts, then power steering belt?
2) Anything tricky about replacing the tensioner?
3) When putting the crank bolt back on, is a torque wrench a necessity?
4) Any other words of wisdom? I have the Bentley guide and have been using it.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
