My daughter's 1990 740 DL has prsented a couple of recent problems. I plan on bringing it back to Omaha from KC this weekend and can use some help.

First: Our main problem is that the motor will sometimes turn itself off after running and won't start back up for 30 minutes. You don't dare stop it at the gas station for fear that it may refuse to start again. We initially thought that the problen was related to moisture but it continues as the weather turns hotter and less wet.

Second: The compressor for the AC tries to start but turns itself on and off repeatedly. Unless this turns out to be an easy problem I may put in a retrofit kit. It worked very well on my '91 740.

After bringingit home on Sunday I'll surely have more insight to it.
