After driving the volvo to Lowes (illegally, mind you. My WV registration expired in 9/07), I noticed that the odometer wasn't turning. I remember hearing in the past that this is a common problem. Is there anything else to consider before I order the $24 odometer gear from FCP?

Also, the trip meter's been broken for probably the last 10 years. It's stuck halfway between some numbers, and the reset stick is broken off. The tenth digit still works great, though. Is this part of the fix?
