blinker problems when light turned on S90-V90 1998

last night i was about to leave a parking space(paralleled parked). and i turned the ignition on, turned the lights on, put the car in reverse, indicated that i was going to make a left turn and then the light(left/blinkers)stopped blinking/stayed on internally/externally. Not to mention, when i indicated that i am going to make a right turn, my hazard light indicator illuminates.

why, maybe some crossed wires or burned out wires, etc. just looking for a suggestion.......blinkers work correctly only when the parking lights or night time(low beams) lights are switched to the off position. any suggestions.....
