V90--Sensor? plug hanging down under front bumper S90-V90 1998

My '97/'98 V90 had front bumper damage, and apparently the body shop did not secure the forward under-radiator gravel guard--it fell off as I was driving down the interstate (I watched it being run over by a following vehicle). Now there is a sensor?? plug hanging down on the left side (2-wires) and I cannot find where it is supposed to be attached. I have a picture which I have tried to upload here, but was unable, and could email it.

Nearest Volvo dealer is 3-hr drive.
