1995 Volvo 960: Code 2-3-2, No Compression Cyl #4 900

Hi there. I have a 1995 Volvo 960 wagon that is an absolute dream to drive on the open road. Lately, the engine idles extremely rough and when I had a compression test done at idle, the 4th cylinder showed no compression. However when you drive it on the road the engine seems like it smooths out to the point where you can't even detect any miss at speed.

The only code that is coming out is 2-3-2 which is apparently indicative of either the engine running too rich or too lean. Is there anything I can or should do to narrow down the options at this point? I've had a V70 which I replaced a valve on. However this one has only 115k and seems to be in good working order otherwise.
