How do I remove this window glass *PICS* included 900

Hi everyone,
I am trying to remove this glass window. I consulted with the FAQs section and also with my Haynes and I can't seem to figure out how to get the window out. What I did so far is to remove the following clips

from where the red arrows point to here:

http://www.cobblehillpartners.com/test/volvodoor.gif.

From reading the instructions it sounds like I should be able to get the arms to slide just from removing those clips. But the arms do not budge. What am I missing here?
