Oil in coolant expansion tank? 700 1987

Hello!

I recently had a coolant hose (the one that goes from the expansion tank to the radiator and turbo coolant intake) fail on my '87 760 Turbo (going on 217,000 miles). The hose that failed is probably the one that came with the car, so it's about time to replace it; however, while working on a temporary solution till I got a new hose, I noticed something a little disturbing:

The hose was soft and seemed to be falling apart from the inside from oil damage, rather than from the outside with heat and age.

That hose should never have oil in it. What's worse: when I looked closely, I noticed an oily film on the inside of the coolant expansion tank.

Why would there be oil in my cooling system? I've known for awhile that my turbo was spitting out too much oil...there's a section in the FAQs about that, if I'm not mistaken. But this seems excessive and potentially serious.

My car is old and showing it, but I'd like to keep her on the road for at least another year. Any tips you guys can provide would be extremely helpful.

Thanks!
