Cleaning air conditioning drain ..? 200 1992

On other cars (other than Volvos) I have owned in the past, I just blew air up through the drain tube or used a coat hanger.

Is that the best way to take care of a 92 245? Is this done from under the car or under the dash best?

On a trip yesterday the air was on a good bit of the day, and water dripped into the passenger area on the wife's feet pretty good by the end of the day, like it filled up and poured over when I went around a corner. This morning I checked and the area was pretty well soaked just under the dash on that side.

Thanks..
