Front brake rotors cannot be removed, is rust only holding them 900 1992

My 92-960 sedan front rotors are worn out so I bought new ones from eEuroparts.com and they look the same as the installed ones but they cannot be removed, I have REALLY tried but I haven't been able to remove them.
I have read everywhere that they are not bolted to the hub, only the small stud, so grease cap and big hub nut don't have to be removed first, and that only rust is holding them to the hub.
I really don't think rust is only capable to hold the rotor so hard.
Any experience about this please.
