I have decision to make on getting rid of '89 200 1989

The insurance company paid me $1700 for the '89 after it was diagnosed as being "totaled" simply because the rear passenger door got caved in after a wreck in a Kroger parking lot. I got to keep the car. Problem is that I can't get a plate for it until I fix the door. So I have to figure out whether to sell it as salvage (i.e., parts)...or put the money into it to replace the passenger door. (Law in Georgia requires re-inspection in order to get a "rebuilt" title before they grant a license plate.)

I kept the car maintained for years...with alot of work. Car runs beautifully..but I don't know whether I should part it out. Tried advertising on local newspaper, computer, etc..but no one will give me $700 for the car. How much in parts could I get?
