So finally got the manifold off Ings my 86 245DL and only had to break a stud on where the header pipe connected and it drilled right out.

The manifold was a mess under the gaskets. Had to polish it up a lot to get it smooth and flush. It is all level and ready go back on but before it does. What side of the gasket goes agianst the head? Shine or gasket material. I think it is shine, but it never hurts to make sure.
