Hello, the idle varies between 200-500 and stalls often. It has reasonalbe power at high rmps but there is an occaisonal stutter. It stalls often at a stoplight.

there are no FI or ignition fault codes
fuel pressure is decent at 38 psi
replaced fuel pump relay
O2 sensor and spk plug wires and plugs are new
no signs of intake leak and most vacuum hoses were replaced last fall

volvo mechanic straigtened damaged AMM connectors which stopped the AMM codes but did not improve the low idle and stalling. He did not have time to continue dianostics and was happly not to pay $95/ hr for trial and error diagnosis or parts replacement.

there is some chaffing of the wire from the crankshaft rmp sensore but wiggling it did not alter the low idle speed.

I went around wiggle another other sensor wires I could find, which did not alter the idle.

Any ideas??
