240 gas smell in car 200

hello,

I have a 1989 wagon that runs fine and shows no sighns of fuel leaks. However it does have astrong smell of fuel in cabin. The smell is more evident after car has been driven a while. Any ideas where to begin? vacum leak? or? Again ther is no sihgn of fuel leaks under car or in engine compartment.
