oil trap got it out cant get back in 200 1988

i have run into trouble getting my oil trap back in, i removed and cleaned following inst. on here, but it seems next to impossible without removing something, I have heard of people getting it back on without removing anything, any hints, as I don't really want to take off the intake manifold, I heard something about removing the throttle body, but that was for an older car.
