Yesterday, after I found the hose to the flame trap split, I replaced the hose, and shot some solvent down the tube. The seperator is clear, You can blow through it and with the oil filler cap off, there is no inteference. This morning I drove to the office, and I noticed while I was pulling in to the parking lot, that there was some grey (light) smoke from the tailpipe. At lunch, I drove about one block and didn't notice any. On the drive home, I again noticed some light grey smoke, and after pulling into the driveway, I could tell that it is fairly constant. If I let the engine idle for a few minutes, the smoke diminishes, but if I rev the engine, I get some puffs of the smoke. Do I just need to let the solvent cook off, or should I change the oil, or have I caused some damage?
