My 1988 780 V6 has trouble sometimes maintaining a constant RPM at idle. It surges between 200 and 1600 RPM’s. Looking through the FAQ’s I found a tip from an anonymous source having the same problem with their 780. They wrote they fixed the problem by cleaning the Idle Speed Motor. Is this another term for the Idle Air Control Valve?
