Well my wife got t-boned in her 94 940 that she loved (had 430 k on the clock and I am sure it would have gone another 400 ... but oh well, they totaled it, and she was not even scratched-- so I am not gonna fuss. Found her another identical one (other than the year and mileage -- black, sunroof, leather, aluminum wheels, and a nice stereo system. (all dictated necessities).
ok guys, here is the facts and things I have done.
It is a non turbo, 195k miles, just changed the plugs, cap, rotor, wires (all Bosch), air filter, cleaned throttle body, idle contol motor and fuel filter. I had the fuel pressure checked and the mechanic said it was fine, he told me the pressure but I can't remember what it was (35-37 I think, but not sure).
What brought all that on was the stumbling every now and then when starting off from a stand still ... runs perfectly the rest of the time. Might not do it but once a week....driving me nuts.
I ttried wiggling various wire but no luck, went through the grounds I could remember.
Does it sound like it could be a ecm?
ANy ideas and I will greatly appreciate it.
thanks guys!
