Thanks, Brickboard. You helped an amateur fix his brakes... and get a broken bolt out... and find a part... 200 1993

Just a quick post to thank those who helped me out with my: first brake job (front pads and discs) AND a broken caliper bolt AND helped me track down replacement caliper bolts. It all came together today, when I removed the rest of the broken bolt (an hour a day or so drilling over the last couple weeks, then picking, then chipping, then picking, then dremel-ing, then picking in between childcare and lesser responsibilities), cleaned the threads, and then spent an afternoon in the rain putting together the brakes that have been shaming me for two weeks now.

Thanks especially to the two Brickboarders who contacted me off the site just to check in. Ryan_R was especially helpful with the caliper bolt part number and general all-around help and encouragement.

I've just taken Sue out for a few laps around the neighborhood, and boy, she stops! Noiselessly! I know this is no great shakes for a lot of you, but this is major for me. My mechanical experience has been mostly with my 3-speed Raleigh.

Thanks, all, and thanks especially to Jarrod for putting this together. It's a great resource.
