Air conditioning drain questions (245) 200 1992

92 245 wagon.
Coming back from the coast (long drive) the wife notes the bottom of her purse is wet ...stopped up drain!
I pull the panel ...unplug the tube ..it is dripping just a bit. I massage the tube a bit up it length, it seems to open up so I place it back in the hole - it drains.
1) The tube is 'S shaped, but seems to have a kink it it. This can't be the way the factory intended...!!
2) There is something hard in the tube. Have I broken something within that kept it from kinking?
3) There is one larger insulated 'L' shaped tube to the right that leads to the area, and it was wet. Is this just from condensation or a backup of water into the tube?

My wife has to take the car early, so I will not be able to get it back till late. Hope to get some good pointers to get this fixed right.

Thanks.
