960 PNP switch, is this the answer? 900

I've had my 92 964 160K miles sitting in the garage now for over a year. Fortunately had a replacement vehicle (wagon) to use in the interim. The car has issues with the transmission (1. up light on dashboard, 2. flashing lights transmission selector switch WES, 3. locked in Park) which I've previously been able to clear with moving the shifter back and forth from Park to Low multiple times. This procedure no longer capable of clearing the problem and getting out of limp mode. Reverse is fine and strong. Would love to have this car usable again.

Question 1: Will replacement of the PNP switch take care of this problem or is the transmission possibly toasted?

Question 2: I was under the impression that there was a Shift Lock switch or sensor which addresses the problem of locking in Park. Is this the case and if so what is the correct name or part number?

Question 3: Rear suspension pretty much sagged out. Where can I get Nivomats at a reasonable price these days?

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
