Help, I found a leak and need advice on what to use to seal it. 200 1986

I replaced my windshield washer motor about 5 yrs ago, and thought I applied enough of the black gooey tar stuff that seals the motor's shaft to the arm behind the glovebox. It must have started to break down and I now have a leak into the cabin. What can I use to replace the black gooey stuff that I can get locally? It looks like rain tomorrow.......of course.

Thanks for looking.
