is there a tool available for the do it selfer mechanic to tighten those steering boot clamps?

I bought some nice stainless steel clamps at Carquest made in the USA, but I can not figure how to tighten them...the old ones seem to have been set with some kind of clinching tool...any ideas?.....I am talking about the rubber boots on the steering rack.....Kris
