My son's 240 brake lights are not working. I have power to the brake switch on the pedal and the power out when the pedal is depressed but not sure where to go from here. Does the light in the brake light spot luminate when the light are on and just get brighter when the brakes are depressed? Where should I look from here?

Next question is about the winshield trim. One side is lose and it looks like the trim was at one time held on by clips, the PO however switched to duct tape. How is this trim held on and are these clips still available? If not, what are some suggestions?

I have yet to figure out how to post pic here yet but I have a plug spot on my distributor that looks like there should be somthing plugged into but it is empty? any idea what should be in there?

I changed out the oil and filter and air filter. I think the PO was helping the environment by just running 3 quarts, but it was clean. I did find two more rust spots, one weaking the metal by the b pillar base.
