A/C compressor cycling 700 1986

1986 745T R12. Turned on the A/C this afternoon. I think it is the first time this year.

Still blowing cold, it would run 4-5 seconds then rest for maybe 10 seconds.
It wasn't really hot out today, low 80s.

Maybe it's just my imagination, but it seemed to be cycling more than I remember. I think it may have used to run a minute or so then rest for 20-30 seconds.

Does that seem like alot?
I suppose it could be getting low on a charge, it has been about 4 years since it was recharged.
Maybe it's time to convert.
