My wife's 240 makes rattling noises when running, and it's coming from the heat shield around the exhaust down pipe. Is it safe to remove this crap or do I need to clamp it up somehow so it stays quiet? I'm thinking my 1990 240 did not have this setup, but I can't exactly remember. Thanks!
