Engine cut off saddenly when warm. 900

1993 940 B230 Regina.
The engine starts fine and warms up, but then it cuts off suddenly during driving. I check a spark plug and there is no power. I thought at first that I was having trouble with the idle valve, but this seems to be a electrical problem from another source. I wait one hour and the engine starts again. after a bit of driving...dead again. Can someone guide on this one. I have no clue.
