940 Turbo Warms up Slowly 900

I just purchased a '93 940 T last week and have noticed that it takes a very long time for the gauge to reach the 1/2 way point. It takes a full 10 minutes of driving (75 degrees outside) to reach normal operating temp. Once it's at halfway, it stays there.

I'll replace the thermostat because it's easy and cheap to do, but can I have anything else going on here?
