I'm putting a 90 740 on the road, after doing a bit of front end repair on it. When I started it up, the check engine light went on. I do not have a repair manual for the 740, but used the same procedure that I have used for my 93 240 to bring up the codes. What I came up with was code 1-2-3 which on the 240 refers to the temperature sensor. Is the procedure and the related trouble codes the same for the 740 (Rex regina) as for the 240 (Bosch)?
