I'm not very car savvy and I've inherited my Father's '85 240 DL. It runs well, and I'm intending to keep it for the longer term.

What I'd like to know is what sort of things should I have checked out at this point? I assume there is a standard list of service items, but are there additional things that this model typically needs?

Thanks for any advise.
