Question about the Base CO proceedure in FAQ 700 1989

Hi all,

I'm looking to set my base specs this weekend. The proceedure in the FAQ talks about red and white pigtails and green and white pigtails.... I'm simply unclear on which wires these are. I have a three pin connected with a red/white wire and a green/white wire on the right side of engine compartment... Is this the fabled pigtails I'm looking for?

A better explanation and or a picture would be very much appreciated.
