bulb out light - '95 944 900 1995

The "bulb out" dash light is lit, but all lights are functioning normally. It stays lit constantly, H/L or no.

From the archives, I suspect it is likely the "bulb out" sensor malfunctioning.

Opinions, before I try to find a replacement ??
