hello everyone, i have a broken door latch mechanism on the old 444, drivers side, it has been caused by wear and tear but the lock/latch mechanism doesnt appear to be sericable, although i have prized up the metal tabs and taken it to bits to find the broken piece, my old volvo stockist cant get the bit, and i am expecting a silly price for a total replacement unless anyone knows either if i can get the broken bit? its the piece with the square hole cut in that pushes the latch back into the door, or if anyone has a working second hand one for sale?
i also broke the lock barrel while removing the mechanism, i totaly forgot about it and broke the thin squre bar conected to the barrel.
