Anyone else have a problem with replacement A/C pressostat switches? The first time I replaced one was about 3 years ago. And I've replaced it almost each year after that. Now the latest one I bought just failed. I kept the old one and reinstalled it; only the clutch is always engaged, won't cycle. The newer one seems to have a bad connection because the clutch disengages, but if I touch it or try to wiggle it the clutch engages again and cycles normally.

I'm off to buy my fourth pressostat switch in as many years and baffled as to why this is happening. I think all the replacements have been Four Seasons, so I'll experiment with a different brand this time.
