Intermittant ABS light - '93 940 900

For a couple of months the ABS light on my '93 940 has been intermittantly illuminated. Last weekend, I pulled the front rotors and cleaned the speed sensors and sensor wheels (using brake cleaner, a soft cloth and conprossed air) while replacing the front brake pads and rotors. Essentiallty, the ABS light problem is unchanged with the ABS light staying on from start about 50% of the time. However, the light will sometimes go off while driving but I percieve no pattern. Suggestions?
