Tie rod ends 700 1987

Hi folks,

Since I never got to doing that suspension rebuild that I talked about, now seems to be the time as I track down this continued steering looseness. I'm starting with tie rod ends, control arm bushings, and swaybar bushings, and will work my way into the steering column later. Honestly, I would like to remedy my slight steering pull as well, and am hopeful that the tie rod ends and control arm bushings will help that.

My question for you all today is, do I need a pickle fork to get the tie rod out, or is there a simpler (or different) way to extricate it from the strut base?

Thanks!

Ari
