Better start Anarchy-proofing the ol' Brick 200

So with our economy on the brink of collapse, a big brother bigger than ever, and an election between two patsies that will do little more than "overlord" the chaos my question is how will the 240 stack up in the coming American landscape of extreme economic depression? Sure its built like an army tank and the wagons make for ideal shelters for those of us whose homes have been foreclosed but how will it fare in riots and mandatory city evacuations?

Luckily most of the 240 industry(apart from fossil fuels) no longer contributes to the GDP as the vehicles are 20+ years old. Nor do we brickers need fear of not making payments as we probably paid in cash. I hear every 240 born in America assumes approx. 85k in debt. Anyways, the whole gas thing is problematic and unknown as peak-oil is a myth but getting it to market is in the hands of our gracious slave-masters in Washington, New York, London, the Vatican, and Israel. Hopefully our loving slave-masters will show some sympathy to the bricks.
Here's a little run-down of martial law things to consider for your 240-
Finally the old brick will be equalized with those flashy new cars as the masses will no longer be concerned with looks but rather survival-potential in a car. The 240s with the best or freshest paint jobs will likely fair better against the government-sponsored weather-modification, chem-trails, and large-scale biological warfare/terror attacks. Hopefully you've thought ahead and replaced your window trim for a nice air-tight seal from those laboratory-born pandemics.
Those of us with thicker tire tread and spares will likely have better odds of making it through the winter as we will have more material to burn for warmth.

With all the nooks and crannies(especially behind the interior trim and wheel wells)the 240 will likely make an ideal vehicle for transporting artillery and ammo to the battlefronts between neighboring communities as they slaughter each other over food and medical supplies. With all that metal, you'll be able to melt alot of it into bullets but hopefully you aren't forced to turn it into a carbomb or battering ram for blitzing the nearest FEMA food-storage facility. The boxy front-end will come in handy for plowing through crowds and/or army checkpoints. The Turbos will naturally have better chances in out-running scenarios.
Unlike modern vehicles with GPS-tracking systems or rfid-chipped components, the 240 will be harder to trace apart from real-time satellite imaging. It's strong design will also sustain more impact when parked next to falling buildings, firefights, civilian round-ups, starving mobs, etc.

And when you're fighting the Russians (or Iranians or whoever) after you get drafted, or when you're eating radiation tainted ground-nuts in some wooded area after you dodged and ran, or when your locked up in some civilian labor camp, you'll be able to look back and reminisce on how truly great your 240 was.
