Heater valve quality? 700 1991

Am replacing the car's old heater valve and have the following choices:

Genuine Volvo, don't know what it is made of: about $60 + shipping
MTC from FCP Groton, metal & plastic: $21 + shipping
Scantech from IPD, all plastic: about $26 + shipping

I'm questing whether or not the genuine Volvo valve is worth the great difference in price, over the metal & plastic MTC from FCP. As long as I change it every 5 to 8 years, that is.

I mean, if you assume that I change the coolant every two year (okay, maybe every three), then I can just toss in a new MTC valve and wind up with it costing less or the same as going 8 years on a genuine Volvo valve. Unless there are quality problems with the MTC valves.

Any opinions on the reliability of these valves? I do run a 150kPa cap, if that makes any difference.
