Intake manifold gasket 200 1987

I am going to replace the intake manifold gasket and I am wondering if I need to remove the injectors before doing so. The directions in the FAQ make it seem as though it is not necessary, and I remember what a pain it was to remove them when I put new seals on the injectors. I would obviously prefer not to!
