Greetings:
I have had many Volvos over the years, primarily 740 non turbo wagons, 240 sedans, and 850 wagons, however, this is my very first Volvo turbo. I picked it up today! It only has 184,000 original miles on it, and it is incredibly quiet. I found a small gas leak via a small rubber line just under the master brake cylinder. The wagon was thought to originally have a tranny fluid leak in the lines, however, I didn't detect anything. The seals don't seeem as though that they are leaking either. Overall she runs smooth and strong! The turbo charger looks ok. The driver's seat, being power has a problem with its controls being functional! Otherwise all is good! How much life could one expect out of a volvo turbo such as this one. I mean I have had well over a dozen or so volvos, which exceeded over 500,000 plus original miles, and or on an average of 350,000 plus origianl miles each! Again this is not my first turbo, however this is my first Volvo turbo. I am thinking M1 HM 10W-40 full synthetic etc. What say you! Thanks in advance!
Best Regards
