Boo-boo-boo-boo-boo noise in the engine. 900

I have a 93 940 B230F engine. I hear a noise in the engine. I sounds like a continuous, intermittent sound. Like boo-boo-boo-boo-boo-boo at idle speed. When I increase rpm the noise is very faint and continuous. Not boo-boo-boo any longer. No crack on exhaust. I can hear the noise on the intake air filter box.
Is this a typical bad bearing noise?
Oil pump noise?
Transmission pump?
Valve problem?
Thanks for opinions.
